Sport at TSS

The Southport School has a very proud history in sport on the Gold Coast. The School provides extensive first-class sporting facilities designed to provide a full range of activities for boys. Along with a reputation of providing excellent sporting facilities, the school is also known for its sporting excellence in coaching. Over the years, the School has helped produce many sporting champions through highly professional coaching, mentoring programs and access to state-of-the-art equipment and facilities. As a member of the Great Public Schools' Association of Queensland (GPS of Qld), the School competes in a wide range of sports and activities.

Our Centenary Sports Centre provides the School with three undercover basketball courts, a state-of-the-art gymnasium, and a large strength and conditioning centre. The centre is also linked to our nine sports ovals, and our seven tennis court and two heated pool swimming complexes.
