OVERDUE MATERIAL

Library materials are a shared resource and it is vital that boys return materials on time so that there is equity of access. The borrowing period is usually two weeks but materials can be reissued if there is no outstanding reservation them.

Steps taken in charging for outstanding materials:

Library items:
1.  A fortnightly overdue list is prepared and taken to pastoral care periods
2. At the end f each semester a letter is sent home advising parents that a student has out standing loans
3.  If following this items are not returned they are presumed lost and the missing items are charged to individual family accounts

Textbook materials
It is the responsibility of boys to return the textbooks they have borrowed at the end of every term, semester or year as applicable.  Lists of outstanding textbooks are sent to class teachers and then unreturned items are charged to the individual family accounts.

Items that are returned after having being placed on accounts will be duly credited.
