BOOK CLUB

On the first Tuesday of each month there is a Bookclub meeting for any interested students. Here we distribute new fiction books which boys read and discuss at the next meeting.

The dates of Bookclub meetings are listed in the Student Record Book.

Excursions and ‘Meet the Author’ days occur during the year, the first being the Somerset Literature Festival in March.

When authors visit TSS to speak to classes, Bookclub usually invites them to a Book Lunch. Here members of Bookclub and authors meet over pizza to discuss books.

The Library produces a speical newsletter for Bookclub boys. It is called the Bookclub Banter. Click here to access copies of the newsletter
