Readers Cup

Boys in year 8 & 9  are invited to  participate in a school based reading competition, from which the winning team will represent TSS in the local Readers Cup competition. This competition is a state wide competition, with teams from schools across Queensland competing. It is sponsored by the Children’s book council of Australia.

Each team of four boys will be asked to read four novels and then on Readers Cup competition day will be asked various questions about these novels. Questions will be on the content of the books. The four books have been especially chosen to appeal to boys and all levels of readers. There will be prizes, certificates and a real trophy for the winning team.

More detailed information can be found at: http://www.cbc.org.au/qld/rcup.htm
