Speech & Variety Club - 2008

The Speech Variety Club was formed and is chaired by Mr John Wallace to encourage confidence and exceptional speaking ability among boys at The Southport School. The club is open to all students from grades 7 to 12.

An invitation is extended to all members of TSS to join this exciting club for 2008. Membership will enhance communication in all forms and meetings are structured to be both informative and enjoyable. The Club will run during Terms 1, 2, 3 & 4 and meetings will be held fortnightly on different evenings.

There are 9 meetings scheduled for 2008.

Wednesday, September 3 (Competiton evening novice and intermediate)

IMPORTANT ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
1) All meetings commence at 7pm and conclude at approximately 10pm, except competitions.
2) Meetings held in Annand Theatre or Memorial Room.
3) Parents are most welcome.
4) All competitions will be adjudicated by professional persons.
5) Dress is casual for normal meetings and Chapel Dress for competitions.
6) Boys who do not comply with the rules of the club will cease membership.
