McKinley wins Junior Cross Country dan and boys

McKinley House dominated the younger age groups in this year's Cross Country Championships. The standout runners in the Juniors were Jake Curran (Under 13), Thomas Clarke (U15) and Lachlan Winterbottom (U15). All three boys finished in the top ten and will represent TSS at the GPS Cross Country Championships, as will Hugo McMicking (Open). Thomas was the highest placegetter with a second place in the Under 15 event. Chris Turnbull (U15) came sixteenth. In the Seniors, Hugo McMicking (Open) came eighth, Sam Ferrier (Open) came thirteenth and Angus Trewin (Open) finished fourteenth. The Seniors finished seventh out of the twelve houses and McKinley placed a very close second behind Biddle House overall - the margin being only one point between first and second! McKinley is now placed a close fourth behind Turnock, Biddle and Walker in the House Shield, a similar position to last year when we finished strongly to be House Shield Champions.
