about Thorold

Thorold House is named after Charles Campbell Thorold, early partner of Bishop Dixon in the establishment of the School.
Thorold House is one of the oldest Houses at the Southport School, living in one of the newest buildings in the School. The building was completed in 1997 and offers students a very comfortable place to reside in whilst boarding. This house is not only strong academically, but is also feared by the other Houses when it comes to sport.
