Giving to the Foundation

Giving to the Foundation Building Fund ensures that the Foundation can help to provide the very best educational facilities for our sons and grandsons into the future.
Membership to the Foundation is available to anyone who donates $1000 or more to it. All donations are tax deductible. There are several ways in which you can donate to the Foundation. You may simply make a donation at any time and for any amount. Substantial donations are always very welcome and enable the Foundation to accumulate a capital pool which can in turn be used to generate income for the future benefit of the school. |
That is an area in which the Foundation plays a most valuable role. Please assist the Foundation to carry out that role by making regular donations in conjunction with your school fees. By doing that, you are helping The Southport School maintain its ability to provide the excellent education which our sons enjoy.
From time to time, the School asks the Foundation to assist in raising funds for a major building project through an appeal. With the wonderful support of parents, friends and Old Boys, these appeals have enabled us to donate to the following projects, thereby ensuring their successful completion:
| The Preparatory School Refurbishment of Biddle House Centenary Centre Science Centre |

Centenary Centre
These types of projects would be impossible to undertake within the scope of the current funding grants from the government and without raising school fees considerably. Our magnificent new Science Centre keeps us abreast of other independent schools and helps maintain our position as the best boy's school in Australia.

Finally, you may choose to make a bequest to the Foundation through the Bishop Dixon Bequest programme. Please contact the Headmaster, Mr Greg Wain, if you wish to discuss this. Telephone (07) 55319911
