BPSG Meeting: Friday August 1 at 3pm in the Darnell Room
Mission
The Boarder Parent Support Group (BPSG) was formed in 1999 with the following goals:
- To promote and enhance boarding life at TSS
- To support boarding staff and to promote communication between parents and those responsible for caring for their sons
- To provide a forum where boarding staff and parent representatives can openly discuss issues that will add to the quality of life for students boarding at TSS
- To allow boarding parents the opportunity to make a valuable contribution at school functions
- To foster and encourage friendships with day parents and to express our gratitude for the care and hospitality given to our boarders
- To provide the opportunity for boarder parents especially those at greater distances to share more in their boys daily lives.

Boarder Parent Support Group Committee
The group comprises 2 parent reps(where possible) from each of the 5 boarding houses. One parent rep from each House is responsible for emailing info to parents in their House. Details below.

- Meetings held 3 times a year.
- Meetings attended by parent reps, Housemasters, Headmaster, Master of Prep School, Dean of Students, Dean of Studies, Director of Admissions
- Meetings are chaired by Miles McColl, Mandy Lobwein as the group co-coordinators .

- If any parents would like to come along to the meetings they would be very welcome but we do ask that issues for discussion are included on the agenda. Please contact your parent rep or Housemaster for meeting protocol and details. Parents are reminded that the first point of contact on operational issues is the Housemaster, or John Wallace (Senior Boarding Master).
- For the group to function to its full potential, parent reps need to be able to make contact with all parents in their Houses. Parents need to ensure Housemasters have their correct email address to pass on to parent reps. If you want to be kept informed of BPSG happenings why not send an email to your parent rep to ensure they have your details or fill out the form at the link below and leave with your Housemaster.
