With the success of Sailing over the past few years, and the large number of students now involved, TSS is now one of the leading Sailing Schools in Queensland, and also in Australia.

Located on the banks of the Nerang River, it is an ideal position to continue 'breeding' future champions of the sport.

TSS COACHING STRUCTURE

The TSS Sailing Club program is run under the auspices of Yachting Australia© and is subject to its rules and codes. TSSSC provides the opportunity for students of all abilities to participate in the sport of sailing.

Our coaches understand that children have different goals with regards to their sailing. These range from sailing for enjoyment, as a challenge, and towards the preparation for club, regional, State or National competition.

All sailors are valued equally in the TSSSC Program and are treated as such.
As coaches we understand that we have the potential to influence and enrich a young person’s life.

With this in mind, every coach will conduct himself or herself in a professional and dignified manner. It is important for the students and their parents to understand that we are not after-school ‘child minders’. Those students involved the Get Into Small Boat Sailing program (Introductory) are expected to listen when spoken to and to respect the authority of the coaches.
