It's that time of the year again when we all start to turn our minds and hearts to that great game, the world game of football.soccer
 
This year we have a few changes with football and the big one being the change of uniform. The school has been in the same uniform for a number of years and we think it is time to update the uniform to look a bit more modern. The uniform is a Nike uniform and the colours are,

SHIRT        White with blue trim
SHORTS    Blue
SOX            Blue

The uniform is available from the friends of Football at a cost of $50.00.

The training for all teams will commence the first week of term 2 and the training times and days are as follows;

All teams will train on Tuesday and Thursday from 3:30 – 5:30.
 U13 & 14 on river oval 2
U15 & 16  on river oval 1
Opens  Boat Shed Oval

The popularity of Soccer ('Football') in Australia is growing, and similarly here at The Southport School. The sport his building in strength, and support for Soccer within the school is certainly on the increase, partly due to the success over the past few years of our 1st XI.

The No.1 Soccer oval is located on the banks of the Nerang River overlooking the high rises of Surfers Paradise. Certainly a superb place for our students to 'hone' their skills for the future.
