Ms Jo Inglis – Deputy Headmaster and Head of Learning and Teaching
Next week, on Tuesday June 9, Year 7-10 students will take part in the TSS ‘adapted’ Subject Information Evening which will be online via Big Blue Button and Canvas. This is in accordance with COVID-19 restrictions which limit the size of group gatherings and also the limitations of adults on school campuses across Australia.
Academic Heads of Department are currently populating the Canvas course below, which is now published to Year 7-10 students and provides subject offerings and elective choices for the 2021 academic year. The 2021 ‘adapted’ Subject Information Evening will also provide opportunities for parents and students to conference with TSS Teachers regarding study options.
Parents are invited to explore the Canvas course via your son’s Canvas login, and take the opportunity to Conference with TSS faculty and specialist teachers on June 9. This is so students can make informed decisions for 2021 subject selection which opens on Wednesday, June 10 and will remain open until the first Friday of the mid-year holidays – Friday, June 26.
Students will receive an email for 2021 Subject Selection: Web Preferences on Wednesday, June 10. Students and parents can seek assistance from the Studies Department and Dean of Studies, Mr Bryce Goldburg – [email protected]
