TSS Senior School Yr7-9 Boarders online curriculum delivery guide for Students and Parents

Applicable T2W6 and T2W9 2020

Rationale

Yr7-9 Boarders who cannot return to campus will engage with online classes as a cohort group in English, Mathematics, Science, Life & Faith, Languages, HPE Theory, and for Yr9 only, Business or History

Pedagogical

• Years 7-9 Boarder classes for those not on campus will run additional to the existing timetable
• Yeasr 7-9 Boarders who are not on campus will not be online in any face-to-face classes
• Canvas and BBB Conference exclusively for curriculum and resource delivery

Technical

Student timetables will be viewable on TASS Student Café and Parent Portal by 4pm Sunday May 24
Timing of Yr7-9 Boarder lessons will align with the current on-campus timings:

• P1-4 as normal
• Lunch 12:35pm – 1:10pm
• P5 1:10pm – 2:00pm
• P6 2:05pm – 2:55pm

Notes

• Years 7-9 Life & Faith delivered via Canvas and Study Gym with Mr. Ellis
• Years 7-9 Boarders attend Chapel as per current timetable
• Year 7 Boarders attend Yr7 Meeting online as normal P2 Tuesday
• Years 7-9 Boarders attend Assembly online as normal P4 Thursday
• Years 7-9 Boarders attend House Meetings online P4 Friday
• Boarder + Housemaster ‘check-in’ sessions occur at various times during the week
