A wonderful week for the Junior swimmers at TSS. A very busy Saturday session culminating in some relay practice and tasty looking BBQ breakfast. A fantastic opportunity to bring all three Junior Squads together and have some fun. Special thanks to the Tiger Sharks boarders and the junior parents for helping with the BBQ!
Plenty of fun outside the pool as well with the Hammerheads getting into some basketball on Thursday morning and Liam’s Tiger sharks enjoying some dodgeball.
DT’s tip for this week is to drink water like it’s your job!! The temperature has shot up this week and athletes need to adjust their fluid intake to match. Approximately 60% of your body is water, even being slightly dehydrated will impact how well you can concentrate and how hard you can work at school and at swimming. Keep that water bottle with you during the day and bring 2 to training and then make sure you drink from them…at every little break in the session.
