The community is invited to join commemorations at the TSS ANZAC Day Dawn Service on The Southport School Senior Campus on Friday April 25th, 2025, from 5am.
The Southport School will unveil the Memorial for the Fallen to the public on ANZAC Day, honouring those who made the ultimate sacrifice.
Commissioned by the school as a special memorial to the 132 TSS Old Boys who sacrificed their lives in military conflicts since 1915.
The Memorial for the Fallen features a unique bronze sculpture handcrafted by Liam Hardy, one of Australia’s leading sculptors. This timeless memorial will be situated adjacent to the Old Southportonians’ Pavilion and overlooking the Village Green at the entrance to the Senior School.
Artist Liam Hardy creates meaningful artworks for the public arena which has seen him commissioned to create bronze statues of some of Queensland’s most celebrated sporting heroes and, more recently, Queensland State memorial in ANZAC Square of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander dedicated War Memorial.
