Delpratt Boarding Report

Mr Bland has organised a house raffle so we can raise funds for a new TV for the boys’ common room. This will be drawn on the 14th June and will be a good opportunity for the family to stay over during old boys’ weekend. Please log into Parent lounge or give cash to your sons for the purchase of tickets.

The Dellie Dames lunch will be held in two weeks…..Thursday, 15th June

Time 12pm

The last two weeks in Delpratt boarding has seen our junior grades work through a busy assessment period and are now starting new units in all subjects. Our senior boys (years 11 & 12) begin their exam block next Wed and Friday (week 8) respectively.

Can we please make sure that all boys end of term leave arrangements are submitted via TSS Reach and the last day is Thursday, 15th June. If boys need to return home earlier can you please e-mail me before you send through the request via Reach .

State of Origin night – Wednesday

It’s always a one-sided affair during these matches and we are blessed to have a plethora of Queensland supporters in the house. The mood is generally positive considering we have an earlier prep time, pizza (supper) and the Queenslanders usually win!

This term we say goodbye to Mr Joel Menzies and Mr Will Parrott. These gentlemen have played an important role in building the Delpratt culture. Mr Parrott will head back to London where he will continue his study post school and Mr Menzies moves into life beyond university. We wish them all the best for the future.

A big Congratulations to Connor O’Neill and Lochie Patterson who competed for the TSS Cross Country squad this week. They finished an overall 2nd and both boys should be proud of their results.
