Mr Jeff Symms
Coming up this week and next are two very important parent information evenings:-
Both events provide parents of these young boys an opportunity to hear about how the program operates, what to expect and how best to support their son as he commences the year. I look forward to seeing you there.
The Preschool evening is this Thursday (November 9) at 6.00pm in the Pearson Preschool Building.
The Reception evening is next Tuesday (November 14) at 6.30pm in the Cribb Multi-Purpose Room (Downstairs).
There are many important dates coming up very quickly. With only a few short weeks now till the end of the school year, it is a good idea to enter these dates into your calendars. Preparations are well under way for each event and I know we will have a busy, but enjoyable finish to the year.

As mentioned in previous newsletters the FOP committee are hard at work putting together this year’s Christmas Carols event. As numbers have increased year by year, the carols will be held on the oval for the first time.
Tickets are now available through Flexischools and will sell quickly!
This year the boys will be singing traditional carols, local group The Koi Boys will be performing and our own Barbara Leinster will entertain
A great Marketta for food and drink and the spectacular Fireworks (Thanks to our kind sponsor RAMSDEN LAWYERS), to end the night will make this once again a memorable event. Don’t miss out!
I thank parents for their co-operation during this period when the new car park’s entry off Lupus Street is operating differently to normal. This is, of course, to allow the civil works for the area immediately in front of the new hall to be completed. I know that we will all be very glad to see these two projects finally complete and campus life back to normal. At this stage we are still anticipating that the building will be handed over in early December, with a bit of landscaping work being finished off over the holidays.
The car park entry off Lupus Street should be restored to normal within the next few days.
Don’t forget that there is still time if you wish to record your family name on one of the Grand Stand seats inside the new hall. Please contact the Philanthropy office through firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com to discuss the process.
