Thursday 9 June, 6pm
As part of our ongoing commitment to keep our boys safe and provide them with the most up to date education, last week, all boys at TSS from Reception to Year 12 took part in an age-appropriate cyber safety workshop, facilitated by ySafe, Australia’s leading provider of cyber safety education.
Following this workshop we now can provide access to an online information hub to all in our community, which provides reliable, up to date, relevant information for boys and families as we are negotiating our way through this ever-changing world. It contains information for parents about social media apps, games and much more. Please follow this link below to access the site: https://tss.onlinesafetyhub.com.au/
On Thursday 9 June at 6pm, we are also pleased to help our parent community by offering a crucial and engaging online education session with facilitators from ySafe. This practical, strategy-rich session will cover the most important points that all families need to know about online safety, covering key information about social media and gaming, screen time recommendations and step-by-step instructions on how to set up a cyber safe home for kids of all ages.
If you’ve ever struggled with getting your kids off their games and into bed, worried about the content of the games that they are playing or felt concerned that your child was spending too much time in the digital world, this workshop is for you!
