The new ATO School Leaver program

The School Leaver program will give high school graduates the opportunity to get their foot in the door and gain valuable skills. The 12-month career development program gives participants work experience, formal training and professional development. As well as the learning and development opportunities, program participants receive a competitive salary and corporate work experience to enhance their career prospects.

Successful applicants will be placed in full-time APS 1 roles in administration and client experience for 12 months. Jobs are available in our Newcastle, Gosford, Upper Mt Gravatt, Townsville, Geelong or Traralgon offices. Applicants may be broad-banded into APS 2 positions at the end of the program.

the program is all about opening up career pathways for young people who want to learn new skills in a professional and supportive environment, earn a good income, gain valuable work experience, and build professional capabilities and work practices.

‘The ATO is a large, diverse, and dispersed organisation with many different potential career pathways. This is a great opportunity to give high school graduates who have completed Year 12 a foot in the door with excellent experience and formal training,’.
