Year 12 Early Offer Schemes document due date

Current Year 12 students who have been invited to apply for university Early Offer Schemes need to ensure they upload their documents before the due dates.

Please check individual institution websites for their document due dates and upload them ASAP.

Year 12 early offers will be released to approved applicants on 19 November.

 

WHAT IS A USI? https://www.usi.gov.au/

A USI is your individual education number for life. It also gives you an online record of your VET training undertaken in Australia. If you’re at university, TAFE or doing other nationally recognised training, you need a USI. The USI is a reference number made up of ten numbers and/or letters, and it typically looks something like this: 3AW88YH9U5

Bond University

Bond University Climate Change and Law Educational Experience

Ambitious Year 11 students are invited to complete an exclusive Climate Change and Law educational experience presented by Bond University on Saturday, 20 November.

Learning from the Executive Dean of Bond’s Faculty of Law, students will extend their senior learning and build their toolkit of university and work skills through a series of online modules and a one-day workshop. Students will receive a certificate of achievement to contribute to their portfolios – course fee is $50 including access to course content, completion certificate, morning tea and lunch

James Cook University (JCU)

It is our pleasure to share with you information about two exciting new scholarships as part of JCU’s commitment to rewarding and supporting high-achieving school leavers, and gap year students, commencing full-time study at JCU in Semester 1, 2022. These scholarships are:

JCU Vice Chancellor’s Scholarship: 

Awarded to applicants who achieve a minimum ATAR of 97.00.

  • Award value: $40,000 awarded for up to 4 years of study ($10,000 per year)
  • Study areas: Any study area excluding Medicine, Dentistry and Veterinary Science
  • Eligibility: Be commencing full-time study at JCU in any bachelor’s degree in Semester 1, 2022. (excluding Medicine, Dentistry and Veterinary Science)
  • Includes: Development and enrichment opportunities including an exclusive mentoring program and Continuing Professional Development.

JCU Deans’ Scholarship:

Awarded to applicants who achieve a minimum ATAR of 95.00

  • Award value: $20,000 awarded for up to 4 years of study ($5,000 per year)
  • Study areas: Any study area excluding Medicine, Dentistry and Veterinary Science
  • Eligibility: Be commencing full-time study at JCU in any bachelor’s degree in Semester 1, 2022. (excluding Medicine, Dentistry and Veterinary Science)
  • Includes: Development and enrichment opportunities including a mentoring program and Continuing Professional Development.
