Mr Liam du Feu – Director of Swimming
The TSS GPS Swim Team did The Southport School proud on Friday night. Both the Junior and Senior Teams swam out of their skin, we could not have asked from more from them.
The Junior Team finished 4th overall, two places higher than 2017. The Senior Team finished 2nd and closed down the gap from 1st to 2nd from last year.
The Senior TSS GPS Team has now finished in the top 3 every year since 2003 and have been top 2 every year since 2012.
The Senior Team came away with 12 wins, three shy of the school record. Kalani Skipps and Flynn McGregor claimed three out of three individual event wins, Kalani missing the GPS Record by 0.02 in the 50m Butterfly!
Captain Luke Parrish and Vice Captains Connor O’Neill and Zach Maher lead the team superbly throughout the day, as well as through the duration of term one.
A special thanks to the huge effort made by all the TSS coaching team and academic staff.
Cannot wait for next year already!
