H.O.M – Being Creative
This weeks Habit of Mind is being creative and innovative. Being creative is to explore new ways to do things. This Habit of mind is one that is needed in an academic environment like ours. It is important that when you get an assignment you need to show your creativity to make yours unique to everyone else’s to achieve the best grade possible. Also taking a creative approach to the assignment can make you enjoy it that little bit more.
Whenever you come up against difficult question you need to be creative and innovative to solve the answer. Even when writing this speech, I had listened to what others wrote about this and needed to create my own ideas. Creating goals or making study timetables can also deeply impact your grades for the better.
In conclusion being creative can be difficult but is a great Habit of Mind as it can help you reach your full capacity to learn and study.
