Musgrave Year Long Sustainability Projects

Mr Josh Beecher, Musgrave Housemaster

(See Prepbook for more information)

Musgrave have been working hard to support a range of projects and causes but we thought we would send the message out beyond Prepbook. Whilst we don’t have one big day of fundraising, we have embarked on a year-long journey to help make TSS a more sustainable place. Collectively we can a big difference to the world we live in. Service is one of our key values and what better way to show it than by helping others with your time and support.

OzHarvest – Are you smarter than a TSS Prep Kid?

Please bring in any non-perishable items to Mr Beecher and you will receive a code in return that gives you the opportunity to complete a quiz created by the TSS Prep boys. The best/fastest result will receive a prize at the end of the year, along with their names being placed on a trophy. You can enter multiple times with multiple donations.

Mobile Muster

The MobileMuster Schools Challenge encourages teachers, students, families and their local communities to recycle old and unwanted mobile phones and their accessories between March and the end of June 2022. This year there are THREE great reasons to join our Schools Challenge: Items can be dropped into Mr Beecher’s classroom.

Nude Food Friday

Musgrave has introduced Nude Food Fridays in an effort to reduce our waste and become more sustainable. Nude Food is food without excess packaging. The aim of Nude Food Fridays is to reduce the amount of rubbish we throw away so we can reduce the amount of greenhouse gas, as well as keep our environment cleaner.

10 Cent Tom Bottle Collection

We have taken over the 10 Cent Tom Bottle Collection. Please bring in any bottles that you would like to donate to such a great cause.
