Old Southportonians’ Pavilion

Thank you for considering a donation to The Southport School’s latest fundraising campaign. A donation of any size will make a difference.

Our highly-anticipated Pavilion has been designed to provide TSS Old Boys with a special place to gather and share treasured memories overlooking the Village Green. Back on the grounds where it all began, the precinct has a 100 person function centre which can be used by past students on game days as well as for professional use throughout the week.

Current students will not have to wait until they graduate to benefit, with the ground level showcasing first-class changing rooms for TSS and visiting teams, plus separate facilities for umpires, referees, medical and physiotherapy staff. The Old Southportonians’ Pavilion was named to honour the strong and unwaveringly proud tradition of our Alumni.

The building is fast becoming a reality. We are nearly there but need your help to meet our fundraising target of $2.3M. With your generous support, The Old Southportonians’ Pavilion is earmarked to be completed my mid 2023.

Donations

By making a donation to the Pavilion you become a genuine partner with TSS and the Old Southportonians’ Association.  To-date $1.9M of the required $2.3M has been raised. It’s our vision to terrace the northern hill on both sides with sandstone blocks to complement this superb building and really turn the Shark Tank into an energised amphitheatre. Donors will be honoured within the Pavilion under the following categories.

  • Donors in the above categories will be recognised in the Pavilion and will receive special treatment at after match functions
  • Top donors will receive a personal bottomless tankard which will remain at the Pavilion
  • Each donor’s favourite school photo will feature within a Pavilion wallpaper on the northern wall of the function room. The higher the donor category the more prominent the positioning of the photo

If you would like to discuss the Old Southportonians’ Pavilion project please call Greg Cornelsen, TSS Director of Philanthropy, on 0410 061 311 or email [email protected].
