Prep Sport

Mr Robert Egan – Prep Sportsmaster

It has been go, go, go at Prep over the past few weeks. We have had several visitors into see the boys, including Northcliffe Surf Club, My Fit Kids and Rise Tennis.

Throughout week 4, Northcliffe visit took over our core skills sessions, they provided the boys with a sneak peek into a day of a Surf life saver, with fun facts, fitness challenges and first aid workshops. My Fit Kids provided their slant on fitness, adding to an already vibrant core skills fitness unit with their own fun, fit and functional movement program. Rise Tennis approached the pupils in a different direction, joining forces with our expert HPE staff, providing a Red Ball masterclass for every child in Prep  during week 3, 4 and 5. I would like to thank Ella, Pat and Kaden from Northcliffe, MyFitKids and Rise Tennis respectively for there efforts over the past few weeks.

The swimming block has started, with Pre-School and Reception started us off with a splash. Every morning for a week, each class headed over to the senior campus for a fun, cool dip in the pool. It was fantastic to see so many young budding swimmers excited to see their swim coaches each morning. Our team of experienced coaches worked wonders with the boys, with enjoyable and progressing in equal measures. This week is Year 1 to 3 turn. Information about the swimming program is available on prepbook.
