As we approach the mid-way point of the current unit of work and assessment pieces begin to loom, now is a good time to remind boys about some of the excellent online resources available to assist them with their preparation.
Facts on File database is an excellent source for all subjects and most year levels. It is very user-friendly and is particularly valuable for boys in Years 7 to 10.
The database JSTOR is particularly well suited to boys in Years 11 and 12 and for graduate/post-graduate studies.
Parents will also be interested in the online Study Skills Handbook which gives students and parents advice on time management, preparing for assessment items and making the most of the school experience. To access this great resource go to www.studyskillshandbook.com.au
