Term Four Training Concludes

The final week of training for Term Four 2021 has been extremely busy. In addition, rowers have been balancing training around end of year exams. Well done to all of the boys (and parents) who have maximised both their training and studies.

During this busy exam time, a group of 45 Year 11’s and Opens went out to Wyaralong for a very intensive seat racing session. It was a great day for it with light cloud cover and good, even racing conditions all day. A few faithful parents went out to feed the boys and were rewarded with a great rowing display. It really reinforced just how hard the rowers work through the season and especially on days like this. A massive thank you to all of the parents who assisted on the day.

House Rowing 2021

Monday afternoon gave us all some light relief with the revival of the House Rowing competition. Although not going towards House points this year, the competition was fierce. Atkinson were victorious in the senior section which included one crew member from Years 9, 10, 11 and 12 plus a cox. The Year 8 champions were  Delpratt House who showed us the results of their dedicated training this term.

Mary has been a huge support and we thank her for all the time and patience she has put into TSS rowing. We wish them well and hope to still see them from time to time around the shed.
