SchoolTV TSS Launch

Andrew Hawkins | Deputy Headmaster and Head of Senior School

Thanks to those parents who attended or viewed the livestream of Brett Lee’s very informative Cyber Safety Workshop last week. Leading on from that we are launching our SchoolTV website today that is a digital wellbeing platform for schools.

SchoolTV is a world first, wellbeing platform featuring Dr Michael Carr-Gregg and TSS is very proud to become a partner in this initiative. SchoolTV addresses the modern day realities faced by schools and parents who increasingly need clear, relevant and fact-based information around raising safe, happy and resilient young people. SchoolTV’s philosophy aligns closely to our TSS Strategic Priorities.

Whilst there is already a great deal of information available, this can often be confusing and overwhelming for parents looking for guidance and advice. SchoolTV addresses this issue. It is an online resource designed to empower parents with credible, sound information with realistic and practical strategies. You will see that the speakers that feature on the topics are the experts in their field and leaders in research.

Below is a glimpse of what the page will look like once launched. Students, Staff and Parents can then go to the areas of the page that they seek. Topics in include Cyberbullying, Anxiety, Internet Addiction, Social Media and Digital Reputation, Sexting, Drug and Alcohol Use, Suicide and Self-Harm and Depression.

SchoolTV is available by clicking on the SchooTV.me icon on the Staff, Parent or Student Portals.
