I enjoy teaching boys because:
Boys generally feel they have things under control and have all the answers. Once that wall is broken down their desire to learn and progress floods out

This is my 27th year teaching and I’m proud that I was able to find a career right from the onset that still motivates and invigorates me every day
An area of expertise/passion in education is:
Developing relationships with my students and their families to help them get the best out of their educational experience
A leader I respect is:
Nelson Mandela. His ability to effect change through calmness and forgiveness was incredible

My family (Wife Katie, son Jasper and daughter Maggie) and my health

I go about maintaining balance and wellbeing: Exercise everyday. Combining swimming, cycling, running and yoga
Something students might not know about me is: I represented Australia in gymnastics as a junior and won 3 Open GPS individual and team championships as a student at Brisbane Grammar
