From the desk of George Collins, Year 8.
This weeks Habit of Mind is Be Curious. I display this many times during class when I ask questions to seek guidance in my work. I am always trying to improve my assignments by asking my teachers ways to improve them, trying to get the best grade possible. Before tests I’m always pestering my teachers to try to get hints on what’s on the next test, never succeeding though. I have also shaved my head to support ‘Shave for a Cure.’ I was curious to feel what is was like to be partially bald and feel what the people going through the cancer treatment had to deal with. Being curious during class is the best way possible to up your grades in your assignments and tests.
