Track and Field Victory

Monday last week saw the entire House get behind each other during the 2017 Track and Field Carnival, and put on what can only be described as the performance of the year! Thorold convincingly took out first place and collected a well earned 13 points bringing us out of midfield on the House Shield tally and placing us in third position overall. There is only one round left in the House Shield competition, therefore maintaining our position in the top three is crucial, while catching Delpratt is not possible with their commanding 12 point lead, it is our House mission to push Radcliffe out of second and have a 1 & 2 boarding house combination at the top of the table.

Congratulations to the whole House, everyone really gave the day everything they had, it is an awesome achievement and representation of what unity can do!

Boarding Activities

Over the past few weekends there have been many activities on offer to all the boys, it has been great to see many Thorold lads take up the opportunity to get involved and take a well earned break from being on campus.

Fishing at Wave Break: A smashing day on the GC waterways for our TSS Boarders. A well deserved break from the daily grind. Great catch Archie!

Ten Pin Bowling: A great afternoon of Ten Pin Bowling! Greg and Mr Beutel were pipped on a shared lead (120 points each) to take home a sushi voucher, going down to Harvey Beutel (2 year old) making 125……he did have the bumpers up though. It was a great afternoon!
