The Southport School Foundation was incorporated in 1986 to preserve and enrich the ideals established by the school through excellence in the written and spoken word and by encouraging boys to aspire to leadership roles within the school community.
In addition, the TSS Foundation Constitution aims are to gather sufficient financial resources to enable the realisation of the schools development plans and community engagement goals.
The Southport School must not rely on indefinite Government support and it is vital that the Bequest Program support is active, enthusiastic and never ending so as to protect the financial stability of the school.
To ensure the survival of TSS our vision is to maintain our fees at a level which ensures excellence through access to all parents wishing to enrol their boys at this outstanding school.
Members of the TSS community can help ensure our vision by making a tangible and lasting gift to the School in the form of a bequest. It shows that you have reached out to leave a legacy that will endure long after your lifetime and remains a very special way of securing the future.
Most Old Boys are extraordinarily grateful for the opportunities offered to them by TSS, which has helped them immeasurably throughout their lives.
The TSS Foundation has contributed to the following projects, and others, which have resulted in new and improved learning opportunities for students and staff;

There can be no more important decision a parent makes than what sort of education to provide their child. The environment in which we are educated has a profound influence on the adult we ultimately become – on our friendships, our values, our thinking and communication skills, and our lifetime habits.
For over 100 years, thousands of parents have entrusted the responsibility of their sons’ education with The Southport School. Indeed, for many boys, who have come from country areas and overseas to board, TSS has become their second family.
TSS has always offered far more than just an academic education. Students enter TSS as a boy and leave as young men. Lifelong friendships are forged. Important lessons are learned of extra – curricular activities that are offered. And just as importantly, traditional values are instilled – such as respect, discipline and faith – which are all too rare in modern society.
In partnership with parents, TSS produces young men who are well prepared for life in the 21st Century, to achieve in their chosen field, to communicate well, to have successful and meaningful relationships and to be thoughtful and positive contributors to our communities.
You can help to ensure this tradition continues by leaving a bequest in your Will or by making a donation of a major gift to the school. Your bequest or major gift would be an exceptional contribution to future generations of TSS boys and to the communities in which these boys will ultimately go on to work and live.
