The Southport School Bequest Programme acknowledges and thanks, past students, staff, parents, and friends who have made provision for TSS in their wills. In consultation with the Old Boys Community, an initiative to establish The Bishop Dixon Guardian Trust will now also ensure a dedicated corpus of funds through bequest and cash donation is now guaranteed, secured and invested for use in perpetuity.
Those who generously leave a gift to the school through a bequest will be welcomed into the Dixon Society and honoured for ever.
Bequests can be left to TSS in the form of;
The Dixon Guardian Trust, named after TSS Founder, Bishop Horace Henry Dixon, manages the cash, investment funds and assets through an endowment fund that enables your gift to grow in perpetuity to support excellence and access at TSS.
An endowment fund is a fund that holds its principal in perpetuity and only pays out a small portion, about 4 to 5% per year. The endowment fund has two goals: to grow the principal and to generate income.

The TSS OSA Bursary Fund provides a number of bursary’s for sons of Old Boys to enter the Senior School from year 7. These bursaries are designed to help provide an educational opportunity at TSS that would otherwise not be financially possible or accessible to some sons of Old Boys.
