We have an exciting opportunity for a Teacher of Business and Enterprise to join our Business and Enterprise Faculty in term 4 for a full time one term contract. We are looking for a candidate who is excited to commence our academic year with us and bring the real world of Business to our students in an engaging, innovative and informative ways.

As our term 4 marks the commencement of a new academic year, we are looking for an educator who will passionately engage our students across all year levels, combining a relational but results focused teaching style with strong subject area knowledge and innovative classroom strategies. This contract is a wonderful opportunity to gain firsthand experience not only in boys education but we also offer opportunities to engage with our vibrant and very busy boarding community working alongside our exceptional curriculum and boarding leaders in this unique educational space.

In addition to our extra-curricular and pastoral opportunities, we also support staff wellbeing which provides all staff with use of our school gym, pool, tennis courts, and other staff wellbeing offerings such as staff yoga and professional development opportunities as part of the Business and Enterprise Faculty.

Candidate applications should:

  • Detail recent Business teaching experience – graduate applications with Business and Enterprise as their teaching areas are welcomed.
  • Articulate the use and integration of technology across the curriculum.
  • Discuss own innovative teaching practices.
  • Share areas of potential involvement in the school community through co-curricular or extra-curricular interests.

Successful candidates will be willing to support the Code of Conduct and stated values and Christian Ethos of the School and must hold QCT registration. All applicants will be required to provide a recent criminal history check certificate upon request and submit to the Anglican Diocese National Register check in support of student protection recruitment and suitability protocols.
