As one of the oldest schools in Queensland, TSS is steeped in tradition, yet delivers innovative academic and co-curricular programs providing the opportunity for boys to find their passion and strive to become the best version of themselves.

This wholesome blend of ‘old’ and ‘new’ world practices offers a nurturing environment for boys to comfortably mature into responsible, accomplished, and compassionate young men.

An Anglican day and boarding school, TSS is located on the Gold Coast’s beautiful Nerang River, and as is the city’s only boys’ school.

Catering to boys from Preschool (Kindergarten) through to Year 12, with boarding available from Year 7 onwards, The Southport School also has a long-standing relationship with our sister school, St Hilda’s, promoting healthy and respectful female connections.

Our commitment to excellence is evident with low student-to-staff ratios, commendable 2022 ATAR results, and a Primary School that ranks number 1 Academically on the Gold Coast – based on NAPLAN results. When you arrive on campus you can genuinely feel the strong sense of community, that TSS families know all too well, and Old Boys cherish for the rest of their lives.
