The Director of Sport Mr Bryan Hain is in charge of Track and Field and has a team of elite coaches in charge of the different disciplines. The squad has a T&F camp in September and competes on a weekly bases in Term 3 and 4.

TSS has seen a number of its past students go on to compete at a Representative and National level , but unlike rowing and sailing TSS is yet to win an Olympic Gold medal in athletics.

TSS has large group of enthusiastic athletes starting in the Prep School, right up to year 12. Over 130 boys who compete in the Hinterland Championships and this is fine tuned into a highly competitive squad which competes in the GPS championships. Although TSS does not have a full tartan track on site it still attracts a large number of boys to morning and afternoon training.
