The Southport School has a proud tradition of over a hundred years of excellence on the Cricket field. TSS Cricket is a pathway to the professional level of the sport providing the opportunity for boys to represent both their State and Country. The TSS cricket department works hard with coaches to develop a progressive and dynamic program to advance the boys in their cricketing aspirations. We are fortunate to be blessed with many level 2 & 3 coaches as well as teaching staff who are involved.
Cricket is a popular summer sport and TSS Cricket provide for all levels of participation, with over twenty eight teams in the School. Selection as a member of the TSS 1st XI Cricket Team is a testament to hard work and determination. Boys who achieve this pinnacle do not achieve this without toil, vision and sweat. They don the Baggy Red, White & Blue and represent the ‘Firsts’ with pride.
